As we have now entered the midpoint of the year 2025, there's a growing sense that this time could be pivotal—not only from a Christian eschatological perspective but also from the viewpoint of esoteric thinkers, New Age movements, and even popular culture. Both an unprecedented global crisis and the spiritual chaos expected during this period are believed to precede the rise of the Antichrist, a figure central to biblical prophecy and the hidden agendas of occult societies. This global turmoil, likely starting by 2025, is expected to set the stage for the Antichrist's emergence as a false messiah, offering solutions to the world's problems. I believe that he is already on the world stage, is a conservative political leader from the USA with post-liberal and integralist ideologies, raised in poverty, military background, a new Catholic, from the tribe of Dan and a millennial.

Recent developments suggest that secret societies are accelerating their plans, with the intent to inaugurate the Antichrist BEFORE 2027, and 2030 at the LATEST, fitting perfectly into the timeline of a 2029-2033 Tribulation period. Their latest (2030) would align with the Biblical rise of the Antichrist kingdom. A significant event that has raised concerns among those watching for prophetic signs was the recent staging of the Lord's Supper during the Olympic games. Some interpret this as a signal that there will be no other such competition before the Antichrist takes his seat of power. This symbolic act, combined with other global events, has led many to believe that the timeline for the Antichrist's rise has been expedited.

It is widely believed that secret societies—such as the Freemasons, the Illuminati, and other global elites—have been preparing for a New World Order for decades. These groups, operating behind the scenes, are alleged to have an agenda that includes creating global crises to justify the establishment of a one-world government.

From 2020 to 2024, events suggest that certain groups have been testing technological capabilities for global control. The COVID-19 pandemic has been viewed by some as a "test run" for surveillance and regulatory measures. Technologies like mass surveillance, digital currencies, and vaccine passports have been implemented, potentially laying groundwork for a system of totalitarian control.

In The Externalization of the Hierarchy, Alice Bailey discusses impending "crises" that she believes will compel humanity to acknowledge the need for a new global order (Bailey, 1957, p. 281). Bailey, deeply involved in esoteric and occult teachings, predicted that spiritual entities (which she termed "the Hierarchy") would physically manifest in the years leading up to 2025. She claimed this would trigger a radical transformation in human governance, establishing conditions for a new world leader—a Christ-like figure uniting humanity under a single system.

Environmentalists have long warned about the growing threats of climate change, famine, and natural disasters, such as floods, cyclones, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions. Scientists predict that by 2025, the world could face catastrophic environmental conditions due to unsustainable practices and the exploitation of natural resources. This environmental crisis, combined with economic collapse, wars, and widespread disease, may push the world into chaos—thus creating the perfect storm for the Antichrist to offer himself as a solution. 

Scientists and environmentalists warn that by 2025, the effects of climate change will reach critical levels, leading to widespread famine, floods, cyclones, EARTHQUAKES, and VOLCANIC eruptions. These environmental crises will exacerbate global instability, driving nations to seek a unified solution.

Astrological predictions for 2025 also point to significant upheaval. Some astrologers and spiritual thinkers outside Christianity view 2025 as a critical year, interpreting planetary alignments and transits as indicators of societal and spiritual turmoil. They believe specific planetary movements in 2025, such as the alignment of Saturn and Neptune, symbolize the breakdown of old systems and the emergence of new, potentially disruptive ideologies. Astrologers believe these alignments signal the end of an era, heralding widespread disruption and the collapse of traditional systems. While these interpretations stem from secular and esoteric viewpoints, they bear striking similarities to biblical prophecies about the upheaval preceding the Antichrist's rise.

Various New Age authors and spiritual channels have also spoken about 2025 as a key year for humanity. Figures like Dolores Cannon (2008) and others have suggested that this time will mark a shift in spiritual consciousness, with many expecting an "ascension" or "awakening" to a higher plane of existence. However, from a biblical perspective, these predictions align more closely with the rise of deception and false teachings that Jesus warned about. The so-called "spiritual awakening" promoted by New Age movements could be part of the broader agenda to lead humanity away from Christ and into the arms of the Antichrist.

In 2025, we're witnessing a convergence of crises—spiritual, environmental, political, and technological—that seem to point toward the fulfillment of biblical prophecy. Some believe secret societies and global elites are orchestrating events to pave the way for the Antichrist's rise, while New Age movements and astrologers unknowingly echo the spiritual deception predicted in the Bible. These events aren't random but part of a larger spiritual battle culminating in the Antichrist's emergence.

Recent events in the Middle East, particularly the ongoing conflicts and potential peace negotiations, bear striking similarities to prophetic patterns described in Scripture. While we must be cautious about specific predictions, these developments could potentially be setting the stage for the prophesied peace treaty that will mark the Antichrist's rise to power. 

Is the world about to witness the rise of Petrus Romanus? Could this transition mark the final chapter before the return of Jesus Christ? Pope Francis's death has reignited interest in the ancient Prophecy of the Popes attributed to St. Malachy (Irish Central, 2022; US Catholic, 2013; Howells, 2013). 

The full text of St. Malachy's prophecy regarding the final pope, as translated from Latin, reads:

"In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations, and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills [Rome] will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people. The End."

This prophecy, allegedly written in 1139 but first published in 1595 by Benedictine monk Arnold Wion, claims to outline the succession of 112 popes from Pope Celestine II onward, with Petrus Romanus emerging as a final figure after the 112th pope. Significantly, Pope Francis is the 112th pope on Malachy's list, after whom the prophecy suggests Petrus Romanus will emerge as the Catholic Church faces its greatest tribulation before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. 

While skeptics argue that the early prophecies were backdated to fit historical figures, many believe the latter predictions deserve attention. What's particularly intriguing is the display of papal portraits in Rome's Basilica of St. Paul, where a hall contains mosaic portraits of every pope, with just one empty plate remaining after Pope Francis's portrait. Could the Catholic Church be quietly acknowledging Malachy's prophecy & could he have acknowledged Rome as Babylon the Great? 

Could it be prophecy fulfillment that the first time in the Church’s 2,000-year history an American has been appointed to lead? The United States Vatican insiders had described Prevost as a “DARK HORSE” candidate who QUIETLY rose to prominence in the days just before the conclave, having been made a cardinal-bishop JUST in February of THIS year. 

The Reverend James Bretzke, a theology professor at John Carroll University in Ohio, told USA Today this week that a diplomat was REQUIRED to replace Pope Francis, adding: “America’s image in the world simply is too powerful − and to be blunt, ugly.”.  Notably, Prevost was considered a candidate for the papacy, but his being an American was widely seen as disqualifying, as there had never been an American Pope. I strongly believe that this is by divine plan to bring together the union of the false prophet and the antichrist.

Could it also be coincidence that the United States will hold the G20 presidency thru 2026? Not to mention the inauguration of a new US president in 2029?

However, for those in Christ, there's hope. Jesus promises to rescue His church from the hour of testing, and Scripture assures us that ultimate victory belongs to Him. Amid this chaos, believers must stay grounded in God's Word, discerning the times and avoiding growing deceptions. Everyone should be prepared by studying end days so that you are aware of the signs and are not deceived. The turmoil of 2025 serves as a powerful reminder that the rapture is near, and Christ will soon return for His church. Now more than ever, the world needs the truth of the Gospel, as the days grow darker, and our Lord's return draws near.
