LESSON TWENTY-FIVE

Revelation - Marriage of the Lamb

“And a voice came out of the throne, saying, praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great. And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. Let us be glad and rejoice and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.” Revelation 19:5-8

Scripture to read: Revelation 19 & 20

Calendar: Marriage of the Lamb - Feast of Trumpets

Lord’s Feast: The Day of the Wedding of the Messiah (Nesuin)

1260 long days of tribulation have ended and the “mystery of God” accomplished. It has been exactly a year since the church was rescued thus ending the first stage of the wedding betrothal process known as Kiddushin. Now the second stage of the marriage ceremony known as Nesuin can finally take place. It has been a long time coming and the lamb is ready to share his life with his bride. Just like past anniversaries of new beginnings reflected in Jesus’ birth and the church’s rescue, the biggest wedding ceremony ever will also take place on the Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah). This will signify their new beginning together as bride and groom.

“And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” Matthew 24:31

"And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Zion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads." Revelation 14:1

It has been a little over a week since the wedding and now it is time to set up the last kingdom on earth. It is possible that we have already received our priestly positions to carry out when we arrive. Jesus has been preparing for this moment for 2000 years and is very anxious to return. He calls upon the angels of the church to gather his elect from every inch of heaven where they then stand with him on the heavenly Mt Zion before their return.
