Vice President JD Vance just stated that one of "Satan’s" deceptions is convincing Christians that faith belongs in one part of life while politics belongs in another. In a recent conversation with Bishop Robert Barron, Vance argued that Jesus Christ is Lord over all of life, not just private morality or church attendance, and that believers should not treat politics, economics, and public policy as areas beyond God’s concern.
Vance called for a more fully Christian politics (known as Nationalism), warning against the temptation to make idols out of economic growth, corporations, or cultural comfort. He said Christians have often been willing to apply their faith to a few social issues while ignoring how "biblical truth" should shape other parts of national life, including the economy, family policy, and the dignity of the human person.
Notice that the Instagram post came from a Bishop of Catholicism. His quote, "Friends, in converting to Catholicism, Vice President Vance was deeply struck by the fact that Jesus Christ is the Lord of one’s entire life, not just parts of it—and this includes ALL of our political positions."
Wow! Christians, PLEASE pay attention! This is what the Watchman has been warning you about. JD Vance is correct about one thing: the deception is being caused by "Satan." As prophecy warns us, it will be leaders within our own religion, Christianity, who will blaspheme God either through ignorance or a lack of discernment. Together, the beast and the woman symbolize the ultimate human and satanic rebellion, substituting the truth of God with false ideologies and corrupt power.
"...I saw a WOMAN (church) SIT upon a SCARLET COLORED BEAST (Revived Rome-USA), full of names of BLASPHEMY (corrupt spiritual teachings), having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication (Catholic Church): And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS (Protestants) AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH." Revelation 17:3-5
The Catholic Church explicitly acknowledges its own role in the "end days," defining it not as an escape from the world's final trials, but as a period of profound suffering and testing that mirrors the crucifixion of Jesus. Unlike denominations that believe Christians will be spared from the end-times tribulation via a "rapture," the Catholic Church teaches that it must endure a final, grueling purification.
“In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit [i.e., as Pope]. Peter the Roman, who will pasture HIS sheep [Catholics] in many tribulations, and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills [i.e. Revived Rome] will be destroyed, and the dreadful JUDGE [Christ] will judge HIS PEOPLE.”
Right here I must stop and remind you that this is their first deception. Those of you who follow the Watchman know that Daniel 12 and Revelation 10 confirm a rescue of the bride 2.5 years in and 13 months prior to Christ's return. The Catechism states that before Christ's Second Coming, the Church's faith will be severely shaken by widespread persecution. The Catholic Church acknowledges that the end days will bring a supreme "religious deception" led by the "Antichrist". The Church's role during this time is to act as a bulwark for truth against a "pseudo-messianism". This deception will tempt humanity to solve its structural, social, and economic problems by abandoning God and committing apostasy.
I believe this will be their next deceptive move, convincing Christians that their false religious movement is led by "Jesus". This is why discernment is necessary.
"And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a STAR fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. And there came out of the smoke LOCUSTS (Christian nationalists) upon the earth: and unto them was GIVEN power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but ONLY those men which have NOT the seal of God in their foreheads. And to them it was given that they should NOT KILL them, but that they should be TORMENTED..." Revelation 9:1-5
The Catholic Church explicitly teaches that it will not achieve victory through a slow, progressive historical takeover or a political triumph. Instead, the Church must follow Jesus into His death and Resurrection. According to Catholic theology, Christ’s return is suspended until "all Israel" recognizes Him, making the ongoing evangelization of the world a core requirement of the timeline.
"...Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great WHORE (church) that sitteth upon MANY WATERS: With whom the KINGS of the EARTH (political & religious leaders) have committed FORNICATION (spiritual impurity), and the INHABITANTS of the EARTH have been made DRUNK with the WINE (words) of her fornication." Revelation 17:1-2
"And he saith unto me, The WATERS which thou sawest, where the WHORE (church) sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues." Revelation 17:15
"And the WOMAN which thou sawest is that GREAT CITY (USA), which REIGNETH over the KINGS of the EARTH. " Revelation 17:18
Jesus warns his church of the coming judgment upon this false religion and the kingdom that deceives mankind. During the first 2.5 years of the tribulation, a period of preparation, this movement (locusts) will test the discernment and loyalty of the Church.
"And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come OUT of HER, my people, that ye be NOT partakers of her SINS, and that ye receive NOT of her PLAGUES. For her sins have reached unto HEAVEN, and God hath remembered her iniquities." Revelation 18:4-5
These last two verses, just before the rapture, give us a clue to the judgment that will come upon those who are deceived by—or follow—Babylon the Great's political-religious movement.
"And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: NEITHER REPENTED they of their murders, nor of their sorceries (witchcraft/mind altering drugs), nor of their FORNICATION, nor of their thefts." Revelation 9:20-21
I truly believe that this is only the beginning of what will ramp up in 2029: religion entwined with politics, influenced by the power of both Catholic religious leaders and Catholic political leaders. I also believe they will be responsible for the set up of the Sunday law abomination & it will continue until the fall of 2032, when the Bride is raptured. After the loss of the Bride, the power of the Holy Spirit, whose light has been restraining Satan, will diminish ending the need for Babylon the Great.
"And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird." Revelation 18:2
